About Me

My photo
I am 29 and loving life! I have been married to Mark 6 years. We have wonderful family and friends! We had our son Maxwell Liam August 21st, 2009 and are crazy about the little guy! I am a full time working mom so always busy and on the go! I try to spend every free second with our little man! Coming home to his smiling face makes the long days at work and rollercoaster of our daily lives worth traveling! We praise God for our lil miracle every day! "I pray that my children may grow in the grace & knowledge of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ"- 2 Peter 3:18

Busy Week!

This week was a busy one to say the least both at work and at home! I am so thankful to have a job that I love and keeps me entertained however if we ever hit the Powerball, don't think i would even call in, ha! Wednesday night I went to a concert with my boss and good friend Katie that works at our creative agency to see the Indigo Girls! It was quite the experience to say the least but had a fun time! This is my boss's favorite band so had to check it out....ummm brownie points? Most important lesson I learned this week is to always knock on the door at public restrooms even when you think nobody is in there! Pretty sure I almost got a swirlie at Shogun by this lady, yikes!

At the end of last summer we bought blow up baby pools on sale since we knew we were going to have a baby this year. So glad we did! Max had a big time, however he was just as interested in the grass outside the pool as we he was the water. Sooooo, we played in the water about 10 minutes when he decided to DIVE in head first under the water....I went in right after him....in one foot of water. He must have held his breath as he didn't cough or cry. one tough lil dude! Then we decided to go to the neighborhood park. I had driven past last week and noticed they had bucket swings. Well, the bucket swings are more for 4 yr olds vs. babies. He swang for just a second but quickly could tell Max wasn't near big enough :( We will try again in the spring or next summer!

I am having a hard time getting Max to use a sippy cup! I have tried 3 different types and he refuses all of them. He will throw it on the floor everytime in his highchair. I say to him, "no no" and he proceeds to throw it back onto the floor again after I pick it up! At first i thought this was a game but i eventually break down and give him his bottle with his food. He doesn't throw that down :) This has been very frustrating but I guess he just isn't ready yet.
